Are you interested in becoming more involved with the management and care of the Off Leash Dog Areas at Hefflinger, Dewey and Hanscom Parks? Do you want to help to raise funds for additional amenities at the two parks? Would you like to help establish additional Off Leash Dog Parks in the Omaha Metro area? If so we would encourage you to attend our monthly meetings and become a member of the Omaha Dog Park Advocates.  It is pretty simple, all you need to do is attend two meetings per year, to be considered a general member in good standing. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 PM in the W. Clark Swanson Library, 9101 West Dodge Road. Additionally we are currently accepting nominations for Executive Committee Officers. The offices up for election are Vice-President, Treasurer, Public Information Officer and Member-At-Large (3). All nominations must be received in person at the August or November General Public Meeting, or via the ODPA website no less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the election. To be eligible for nomination, a candidate must be either a member of the Executive Committee or a General Member. All nominees must be in good standing.
